Very, very interesting. Be prepared for lots and lots of stairs down into the cave, then back up. It was arduous for me as a 78 year old, but worth it.Full review by Gila S

Beautiful. Excellent experience in everyway possible. Caverns are amazing. Gift shop, museum and especially the help were all top quality. Well worth going !!Full review by Bigb5494
Self Guided Tour Questions: Do you have head sets that explain what we are looking at? Are there Guided tours other than the 4 hour tour? Is it just a map? Do I need a torch or are the lights always on or motion activated? Are there bathroom breaks on the 4 hour tour? We have been to lots of caves, but never been to one like this and would like to know what we are down for before we get to the area. Thanks for any advice!!!

The previous answers are pretty spot on. During the self guided tour we found it pleasant, well lit, comfortable and at your own place with plenty of viewing areas, well lighted features and great signage and descriptions. This is a very large and open cave and is very easy to navigate. We didn’t stop for the restroom during the tour but I’m sure in the event of an emergency you could go out to the restroom and return. This cave is very well setup and you don’t sacrifice anything by it being self guided.

Coming from another claustrophobic, I can assure you it wasn't bad at all. Walking down the tunnel was the smallest space and it wasn't confining. I get nervous in elevators and I had no issues. It really is beautiful and you shouldn't pass up the chance to see this wonderful cavern.
