Three Ceders Farm does not grow apples, they buy the apples to press in their cider mill. However Longs Orchard in Commerce Twp does grow apples and they have a U-pick apple area Open M-F Noon - 6pm and Sat Sun 930am-6pm. longsorchard com At Longs they sell you a bag to pick apples. Each person over the age of 4 years must buy a bag to get access to the orchard. The smallest bag is $3 and it can hold 7-10 apples. The Medium size bag is $5, Large is $9, X-Large is $17. Also X-Large bag - 1/2 bushel. Question is: can you buy one X-Large bag for 4 people to enter the orchard. Answer = No. because each person must carry their own individual bag to enter the orchard.
