Jan. 21 (UPI) -- The Black Eyed Peas have canceled their Las Vegas residency show amid "current circumstances." The decision to scrap their scheduled performances at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino was announced Sunday.

The group announced via Instagram Stories that it was canceling its upcoming Las Vegas residency due to “current circumstances.” “To our dearest Peabodies,” the statement said. “It is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned.”

The chart-topping band were lined up to perform at Planet Hollywood's PH Live with shows due to begin on 15 February. But the group behind hits including My Humps, Boom Boom Pow, and Let's Get It Started took to social media on Monday to share their cancellation news.
