After a red hot start to the NCAA Tournament, the Big Ten cooled off slightly over the weekend. However, the conference will still be well represented in the March Madness regionals, sending four teams to the Sweet 16.

Texas A&M men's basketball lost to Michigan in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in a nationally televised game on Saturday in Ball Arena.

Michigan’s Sweet 16 opponent is the NCAA Tournament’s No. 1 overall seed. The Wolverines are headed south to play Southeastern Conference champion Auburn in Atlanta on Friday. Tip time will be announced at a later date.

Michigan State hockey will open the NCAA Tournament against Cornell. The Spartans landed as the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will face off against the Cornell Big Red on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan State will face Cornell in Toledo, Ohio, on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. as the No. 2 overall seed. Boston University and Ohio State will face off in the other matchup in that region. The Buckeyes and Spartans are in the same region after squaring off for the Big Ten tournament title on Saturday night.
