A number of schools in Connecticut have been affected by a widespread cybersecurity breach involving the PowerSchool Student Information System used by districts across the country and internationally.

School districts are warning parents about a data breach involving PowerSchool -- a software system used by several Massachusetts school districts. Needham, Woburn, Milton, Canton, Bridgewater-Raynham and Westford are among the schools that use the software.
