The leader of the U.S. Center for SafeSport wrote in an email that the revelation of a former investigator’s arrest on rape charges was “just sickening,” while also saying there was no reason to believe he’d committed any wrongdoing while working for the center.

Jason Krasley, a fired investigator for the U.S. Center for SafeSport, was arrested a second time and charged with felony rape and sex trafficking, which he allegedly committed while employed as a police officer between 2011 and 2015.

Jason Krasley was previously fired from SafeSport after it was revealed he had been arrested for allegedly stealing $5,500 of seized drug bust money.
