A school van driver was killed after a tractor-trailer ran a red light in Salem Township, Westmoreland County, on Friday morning, police said. According to the Greensburg Salem School District, the crash happened at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 819 just after 7 a.m.

The driver of a school van was killed in a crash that involved a tractor-trailer in Salem Township, Westmoreland County. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash, which happened around 7:15 a.m.

One person is dead after a crash involving a school van and a tractor-trailer in Westmoreland County, 911 dispatchers confirmed to Channel 11.

State police believe the tractor-trailer driver who collided with the van may not have seen the traffic light change.
