Ben Affleck won’t be responding to the Bat Signal — ever again. The Oscar-winning actor made his debut as the Dark Knight in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” before reprising the role in films like 2017’s “Justice League” and 2023’s “The Flash,” but he’ll never be Batman.

In a new interview with GQ, Affleck shared that while he loved doing the Batman movies, he learned that his iteration of the franchise might have been targeting a demographic that

"I was like, 'Oh s---, we have a problem,'" recalled the actor, who played Bruce Wayne/Batman across several movies.
