“Currently the Mackinac Bridge is closed to all traffic due to hazardous ice falling from the bridge cables and towers,” the MBA said this morning. “There is no expected schedule for reopening. When conditions improve, the bridge will be reopened to traffic.”

The Mackinac Bridge Authority has closed the bridge due to ice falling onto the roadway. 60 miles south, some businesses have had to throw out food.
