That first leg of the championship race features four on-campus games. No. 8 seed Oklahoma opens the action on Dec. 19 when it hosts No. 9 seed Alabama. MOORHEAD — The Moorhead Sports Center will hang another banner from the rafters on Tuesday night. The new banner will commemorate the 2024-25 Spuds' Minnesota Class 2A boys hockey state championship. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23 before Moorhead's game against Sartell.
