CHICAGO — A Chicago police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty was laid to rest on Friday. Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew was killed on Saturday, April 25, after he was shot at Swedish Hospital by a suspect whom he and his 57-year-old partner were guarding.
