EDMONTON — Already missing Leon Draisaitl because of an injury, albeit one that’s believed to be minor, things went from bad to worse for the Edmonton Oilers when they started Thursday’s third period without Connor McDavid.

Leon Draisaitl, the NHL's top goal scorer, could be out "up to a week," Knoblauch said. He sat out Thursday's game after suffering an undisclosed injury on Tuesday. But Knoblauch said goalie Stuart Skinner is fine after being pulled by a concussion spotter Thursday after a collision in the crease.
