Jimmy Butler’s return to Miami as a member of the Golden State Warriors was never going to be a sentimental affair, and that reality was made clear on Monday while he spoke with reporters. Butler showed little interest in the prospect of being honored with a tribute video during Tuesday’s game against the Heat.

The Warriors are 16-3 with Butler in the lineup, enough of a boost to help them claw out of play-in-tournament range for now and give them a chance at securing a guaranteed playoff berth with a top-six seed.
