Killingly — The budget to renovate the future home of the town’s community center at 79 Westfield Ave. has increased by $1.6 million to cover unforeseen repairs to the building’s heating system.

Shower privileges have been available to any member of the Killingly Community Center for years. The handful of people experiencing homelessness who utilize the facilities are paying customers.
