As the Miami Dolphins are transitioning to having new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan lead the football roster, the team signed four more players to futures contracts Friday. The Dolphins announced they signed defensive tackle Keith Cooper Jr., tight end Cole Turner and offensive linemen Braeden Daniels and Carter Warren.

With the 2025 NFL regular season officially over, Zach Wilson ’s time as a Miami Dolphin has likely come to an end. The former No. 2 overall pick out of BYU joined the Dolphins last offseason when he signed a one-year deal. He had spent the previous season as the Denver Broncos’ third-string quarterback.

It wasn't all bad for the Dolphins. With the edge rusher box still not checked after four rounds, they took Andrew Van Ginkel in the fifth. He developed into a bright spot on the Miami defense, but he left as a free agent in 2024 and has turned into a star with the Minnesota Vikings.

These eight stats tell the story of the Dolphins' subpar year and the few positives they can build on under a new regime: Tagovailoa's 67.7 completion percentage, while down from his NFL-leading 72.9 percent in 2024, wasn't far off his career average of 68 percent. His 20 touchdown passes aren't a poor total either.
