KARACHI, June 28 (Reuters) - Pakistan's media regulator has suspended the broadcast licence of television channel Geo News for 15 days over content aired during a programme marking Muharram, one of the most sensitive periods in the Islamic calendar.
Pakistan has reportedly expanded digital censorship measures by restricting access to several news websites following extensive media coverage of the ongoing unrest in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK).
Incoming reports indicate that international broadcasters, including Al Jazeera English, have also become inaccessible to users within parts of the country
