Passengers and crew traveling on the Queen Mary 2 from England to the Caribbean reported symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting.

A norovirus outbreak aboard a luxury cruise ship has left over 224 passengers and 17 crew members sickened, according to the CDC.

According to the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP), 224 passengers and 17 crew members became ill during the cruise, with the ship carrying a total of 2,538 passengers and 1,232 crew. The primary symptoms reported, diarrhea and vomiting, were consistent with norovirus, which was identified as the cause.
