Texas Republicans say they want to ban "political flags" that they say cause disruptions in public schools. They seem to just mean LGBTQ+ pride flags.

A bill that passed through the Texas state Senate that would ban Red Flag laws is at odds with public polling on gun control.

Gov. Greg Abbott encouraged individuals, businesses, and local governments across Texas to lower their flags during the same time period.
