One suspect has been killed and others were taken into custody following a shooting with Albuquerque police Monday morning. APD says around 9:45 p.m. Sunday officers were called to the Walgreens on Eubank and Menaul after two people walked in armed.

An alleged armed robbery led to police shooting and killing one of the suspects and SWAT officers detaining the other suspect in northeast Albuquerque.

An Albuquerque police officer was shot and hurt early Friday morning after exchanging gunfire with a suspect. Police say this happened at an apartment complex on Montgomery Boulevard just east of Carlisle Boulevard. APD says the officer is conscious, was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok. The suspect was shot and died at the scene.
