TAMPA, Fla. — As cold temperatures sweep the Sunshine State, several counties across Tampa Bay are opening cold weather shelters to provide a warm space for those experiencing homelessness or people without adequate heat who have nowhere else to turn. 10 Tampa Bay is providing a list of cold weather shelters across all counties in the area.

Cold weather shelters are opening in Central Florida on Thursday and Friday due to expected overnight temperatures below 40 degrees.
