Chris Stapleton opened up about Traveller Whiskey's partnership with Justin Allgaier and JR Motorsports which led to a unique paint scheme.
The No. 40 car's design will feature Stapleton's whiskey brand Traveller Whiskey, produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery.
The team will field an entry in the 2025 Daytona 500 with Justin Allgaier as the driver, and he will drive the No. 40 car for Chris Stapleton’s Traveller Whiskey brand (to correspond with the blend No. 40 in the product), with Greg Ives as the crew chief.
JR Motorsports today announced that NASCAR Hall of Famer and two-time DAYTONA 500 winner Dale Earnhardt Jr., along with 10-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Chris Stapleton, have come together to field the inaugural entry for JRM in the NASCAR Cup Series in the 2025 running of the DAYTONA 500.
This marks the first time JR Motorsports has entered a car in a Cup race and it comes at the event Dale Earnhardt Jr. won twice as a driver.
