A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of Connecticut with freezing rain expected Friday morning, NWS says.

Connecticut is due for more snow this week, according to the National Weather Service and AccuWeather. The weather service also has issued a wind advisory for portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern, northeastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts, and northern and southern Rhode Island.
