NEWARK, N.J. -- Spencer Knight made 26 saves, helping the Florida Panthers to a 2-1 shootout win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center on Tuesday. Jesper Boqvist scored for the Panthers (26-16-3), who had lost two straight and three of four. They lost 4-3 at the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.
After falling on Monday night to the Philadelphia Flyers, Florida dug deep and earned a gutsy 2-1 shootout win over the Devils, thanks in large part to a great game between the pipes by Spencer Knight.
Lundell beat Devils netminder Jacob Markstrom in the third round of the shootout to end New Jersey’s home winning streak, and Spencer Knight made 26 saves for Florida.
