The air date has been confirmed for Idris Elba's new hour-long documentary Our Knife Crime Crisis, in which the Luther actor is seen on a mission to confront the issue. The film, which has been described as "a raw exploration of one of the UK’s most pressing issues", will air at 9pm on Wednesday 29th January on BBC One.

The fires have led to the cancellation of several entertainment events, including Wednesday's premiere of the Robbie Williams biopic “Better Man,” a premiere of Jennifer Lopez's “Unstoppable” movie and the premiere of Universal Pictures' upcoming horror film “Wolf Man.”

Set in the 1980s in the Thar desert of Rajasthan, the film follows the life of Siddharth (played by Harsh) as he travels to the village of Munabao to find work. Later on, he crosses paths with Inspector Surekha Singh (Anil Kapoor) while investigating a series of violent killings in the village.
