Jaylen Brown had 22 points, eight assists and five rebounds to help the Boston Celtics end a two-game losing streak by beating the visiting Denver Nuggets 110-103 Sunday.

The Nuggets almost survived to Jokic’s return. They were down 88-84. The last minute without him was a near-death sentence, though. Sam Hauser knocked down a transition drive-and-kick 3-pointer to bring the house down with 8:11 to go, highlighting a 6-0 burst.

The Boston Celtics got back in the win column Sunday afternoon, defeating the visiting Denver Nuggets 110-103. In doing so, Boston avoided dropping a third straight regular season game, something the Celtics haven't done since March of 2023.

Iffy against Denver

The Boston Celtics avoided their first three-game losing streak of the season on Sunday, thanks in large part to a vintage performance by Al Horford.

The Celtics will still be down two starters Sunday against the Nuggets, though Jaylen Brown is available to play.
