There's a new V-Series Cadillac in town, the luxurious land barge that is the Lyriq. Not only is the Lyriq-V the first all-electric Cadillac to wear a V badge, but it will also be the fastest production model the brand has ever made.

This enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in approximately 3.3 seconds in Velocity Max mode. That makes it the quickest Cadillac, as it’s a tenth of a second faster than the CT5-V Blackwing.

The Cadillac Lyriq was the first of a new breed of General Motors' electric vehicles. Built around a common battery platform ( which used to be called Ultium ), the midsize SUV has been on sale for about three years now, and for model year 2026, there's a new version available, the first Cadillac EV to wear the V-series badge.
