By Harry Robertson and Naomi Rovnick LONDON (Reuters) -UK markets dialled down wagers on further Bank of England rate cuts on Thursday after the central bank held borrowing costs and stressed the high levels of uncertainty facing policymakers over potential U.

The Bank of England is set to keep U.K. interest rates unchanged even though the economy is barely growing and set for further uncertainty in light of the tariff policies being enacted by the Trump administration in the U.

Three of the Bank of England’s more dovish members decided against another immediate interest-rate cut, as the panel held policy steady in the face of a turbulent global backdrop.
