Tommy Robinson: Thousands 'shut down London' as protesters chant 'free Tommy'
A protest organised under the name "Stop the Isolation" or "Unite the Kingdom", in support of Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, formed in Sandell Street and Cornwall Road near Waterloo Station from noon on Saturday (February 1). Organisers estimated some 20,000 to have joined.

Police in London are preparing for large-scale protests on Saturday, as demonstrators backing Robinson are met with a counter-protest organised by campaign group Stand Up To Racism. His supporters, who go under the name ‘Stop the Isolation’ or ‘Unite the Kingdom’ are to meet up in Sandell Street and Cornwall Road near Waterloo Station from 12pm.
