Meta is integrating WhatsApp into its Accounts Center, as WABetaInfo spotted. The change, which is rolling out globally “over the next few months,” lets WhatsApp users share status updates across Instagram and Facebook, as well as enable single sign-on.

WhatsApp's status tools are basic, lacking remixing capabilities like Instagram Stories. Nonetheless, Meta just announced that WhatsApp now supports cross-posting status updates to Instagram through Meta's Accounts Center.

WhatsApp is working on new features to enhance the user experience. The new status update will enable them to share their favourite songs on their WhatsApp status.
