Ay caramba, a four cylinder grand tourer for $107,000? That's what it'll cost buyers to own the new 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 43. Even if it's pricey up front, the car is actually now the cheapest in the whole AMG GT lineup.

Mercedes-AMG has just announced that, as of this fall, the brand sell you a new four-cylinder variant of the second-generation AMG GT coupe, for a starting price of $107,050. That makes this new entry-level AMG GT 43 more than $30,000 below the base price of the most affordable V-8 variant, the AMG GT 55.

To be sure, compliance is not quite as cossetting as a full-sized luxury sedan. Hell, it’s not even in the same league as the base CLA 250 that costs roughly half the price. But, considering how serious-as-a-heart-attack the ride is in Sport+ mode, you’ll be thankful for the change in shock valving.

There are almost too many Mercedes-AMG GT variants to number, but the most exciting ones - like the AMG GT Pro - all come with a V8. The AMG GT 43, unfortunately, does not. It comes with a turbocharged 2.

Unlike the more powerful AMG GT55 and GT63, the new entry-level GT43 coupe forgoes AWD for RWD fun that's less expensive.
