One person was killed and several others were injured in a crash in Fayette County on Monday night. Fayette County Coroner Dr. Bob Baker said the coroner's office was called to the scene of a crash near the intersection of Morgantown Road and Tent Church Road just after 9 p.

GEORGES TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash in Fayette County Monday night. First responders were called to a two-vehicle crash in Georges Township, where Route 119 meets Tent Church Road, just after 9 p.m. Fayette County Coroner Dr. Bob Barker said that Tyler Keith Shaffer, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Fayette County Detention Center, 27-year-old Alicia Ropp was found unresponsive in her cell around 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. Investigators says corrections officers and first responders tried to revive her but were unsuccessful.

Community Corrections Staff found 27-year-old inmate Alicia Meredith Marie Ropp dead in her cell Saturday morning, according to a news release.
