Ranchers are still dealing with the impacts of the first release of Gray Wolves in Colorado. They say they're frustrated over the newest introduction of wolves in the state and over a lack of communication from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
Recent Parks and Wildlife operation releases 15 additional wolves in Colorado
Colorado Parks and Wildlife says 15 more wolves are now in the state as part of the revitalization effort for the species. The animals were released in Eagle and Pitkin Counties.
Colorado to introduce gray wolves from British Columbia
Gray wolves from British Columbia will soon be transported to Colorado, state wildlife officials say. Colorado Parks and Wildlife said it’s working with the B.C. Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship to find up to 15 wolves for reintroduction in the state.
