COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — (AP) — Marxist lawmaker Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Sunday claimed he had won Sri Lanka's presidential election. “This victory belongs to all of us,” Dissanayake said in an X post.

The election, contested by 38 candidates, was largely a three-way race between Dissanayake, Wickremesinghe and opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
