One woman was killed in a fire that ripped through three homes in Bay Shore early this morning, according to law enforcement.

Long Island officials are investigating a deadly house fire in Bay Shore that killed a woman and injured a man overnight.

Six dead horses and 22 others suspected of neglect were found at a property on Buckhorn Road on Sunday, according to the Suffolk Police Department's Animal Control Division.
