Jeremy Swayman pleased at reception for former Bruins Linus Ullmark
Ullmark stopped 14 shots to lead Ottawa to the win. Swayman, who developed a close friendship with Ullmark during their time together, appreciated the reception the Boston crowd gave Ullmark, both before the game and during the tribute video that aired during the first period.

The 31-year-old Ullmark was traded by Boston to Ottawa in June. The 2023 Vezina Trophy winner went 88-26-10 in three seasons with the Bruins, but he was on the bench behind Jeremy Swayman for most of last season’s playoffs.
