The Beatles legend Sir Ringo Starr has announced his first full-length album in six years, which is a country record produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett

Ringo Starr wasn't renowned as an exceptional songwriter, but he did contribute a little bit to The Beatles library. This is how he wrote his first song.

"When we came, it was quite shortly after Kennedy being assassinated," Paul McCartney says in the trailer, released Thursday. "Maybe America needed something like The Beatles to be lifted out of sorrow." McCartney and Ringo Starr are among the documentary's producers, while David Tedeschi serves as director.
