PROVIDENCE – A Rhode Island College employee was arrested in connection to a camera placed inside an on-campus restroom, authorities said Wednesday. Dean Faiola, 49, was arrested Tuesday at his home in Cranston, R.I., and charged with one count of video voyeurism, according to Lindsay Lague, a spokesperson for Providence police.

(WJAR) — Community College of Rhode Island said its Lincoln campus is on lockdown. According to message from the school obtained by NBC 10, students and staff are being asked to close all windows and doors. School authorities did not immediately say why the area was put on lockdown.

Police placed the Flanagan Campus of the Community College of Rhode Island on lockdown Thursday evening after reports of a person with a handgun on the premises. Authorities responded to the Lincoln campus after receiving reports of an armed individual,
