is adding water to its new Gremlins movie, which is next on the slate for ... Its sequel, tentatively titled Gremlins 3, is written by the same man who wrote the first, Chris Columbus.

That doesn't mean he'll write the movie, but it is the most positive sign we have yet that Gremlins 3 could actually happen. Columbus first wrote Gremlins as a spec script to break into Hollywood.
