The Russia-based ransomware gang LockBit is offering newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel alleged “classified information” that it claims could “destroy” the agency if made public. The message, made in a post to LockBit’s dark web blog on Tuesday, masquerades as a congratulatory note before attempting to pit Patel against the FBI’s workforce.

Patel is a controversial nominee, having long raged against the so-called Deep State and prioritized his loyalty to Trump.

Although nothing has been set in stone, Dana White and one of his biggest hitters have positively reacted to Kash Patel mulling over UFC training FBI agents.

While White did not offer further details on the potential partnership between the UFC and FBI, he said Patel is "dead serious" about it.

That wasn’t just some off-the-cuff remark from FBI director Patel — the feds really could be working with UFC fighters in the near future.
