The Lightning will be without matchup-line center Anthony Cirelli for their important division game against the Senators tonight at Amalie Arena. The team called up winger Conor Sheary from AHL Syracuse to fill the forward spot.

On the surface, Tampa Bay is a run-of-the-mill opponent for allowing shots with a 13th-ranked 50.7 Corsi For percentage at 5-on-5 and surrendering a middling 28.4 shots per game. The Lightning do allow the sixth-most shots per game to opposing wingers, though, so Tkachuk is positioned to have oodles of shooting opportunities again tonight.

Brandon Hagel scored less than two minutes into the third period to give the Tampa Bay Lightning the lead for good in a 4-3 win that snapped the Ottawa Senators’ five-game winning streak.

The Bolts pushed through to beat the Senators 4-2 in regulation, giving them two much-needed divisional points.
