The board did not discuss Johnson's resignation offer, which was made at a board meeting earlier this month because of the possibility of the district splitting.

Former Superintendent Tracy Johnson did not attend Thursday’s meeting, having already cleared her office out earlier in the week.

The Keller ISD school board tried to explain to a crowd full of parents and community members why it feels it needs to split in two. But it seems like it wasn't enough to convince the majority of people in attendance.

Johnson said at a Jan. 16 special meeting that she had already written her letter of resignation and would submit it if she did not agree with how the process to split the district plays out.
