As we know John Robertson died during a poker game in pearl plantation. Later on he was revived back to life by the Bone doctor to give birth to whom we have known for a while as The Revenant. An undead with his former self's consciousness. Later on we were introduced to Bad Hand; John Robertson alive and kicking. the revenant before he died.

Occasionally though you'll get legendary unlocks like weapons or even hunter slots. However there is 1 legendary hunter you can be awarded named Bad Hand which is an alive version of the revenant character.
