The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will serve as the voice of its members by educating, leading, and promoting economic development and tourism in Freestone County.

Fairfield is located in the center of Freestone County. Interstate 45 passes through the west side of the city, leading north 88 miles (142 km) to Dallas and south 152 miles (245 km) to Houston.
