On this day in 1964, Erroll Garner and his trio performed in London for a BBC broadcast of Jazz 625. From that performance, here is Garner’s original composition “No More Shadows” featuring Eddie Calhoun on bass and Kelly Martin on drums. The trio would perform the song again the following month for a midnight performance in Amsterdam. You can hear that performance on Erroll Garner’s ‘Nightconcert’ album. | Erroll Garner
